Car-shelter anchors
In autumn, I erect a temporary car shelter to protect my vehicle from winter conditions and to have to diminish the amount of laborious snow-shoveling that our long Canadian winters necessitate. Come spring, I dismantle said temporary car shelter. Both in autumn when I erect the temporary car shelter, and in the spring when I dismantle the temporary car shelter, when installing either hooks or screws into the permanent anchor system I have installed on my driveway, I make sure to first apply WD40 to ensure that the screw-ports are clean and properly lubricated to avoid ceasing (one year I did not erect my car shelter, and come the following year, two of the screws protecting the permanent anchor system had become ceased, where even an impact drill could not free them, and that really taught me the value of applying WD40 each autumn and spring.
