Mini monster motor bike

Plus 3 more

We found this mini bike sitting in the garbage dump — completely abandoned. Instead of letting it go to scrap, my 11-year-old son and I decided to bring it back to life together. We’re trying to foster creativity and hands-on problem solving in him through projects like this.
Someone had donated a broken pressure washer, but the motor was still good. So we pulled the engine off the pressure washer and swapped it into the mini bike.
From there, it was a full rebuild:
New gas tank
New tires and tubes
New throttle
New carburetor
During the rebuild, we used WD-40 to help seat the tubes into the tires, lubricate the clutch components, and soak the chain to get everything moving smoothly again.
What started as junk turned into a fully running machine — built from salvaged parts that would’ve otherwise been thrown away, and a father-and-son project focused on creativity, learning, and building something together.
