50 year old Honda Elsinore dirt bike

4 years ago I was looking through adds and stumbled upon a used Honda Dirtbike. It was missing a lot of parts and had a strange name. I wasn’t looking for another project as I was currently trying to get rid of stuff . I currently had an older Honda bike and had odd size 23” front tire that’s obsolete. So this new add for sale had parts I could use. I searched up it’s weird name ‘Elsinore’ and was intrigued the more I learned about this . It was ground breaking for Honda , first 2 stroke and named after a race in California. I got this bike and was in love with its beauty. Silver and green and still had factory paint all original. It took 4 years to acquire all the parts. Some are no longer available. I used WD-40 to loosen up old parts, bolts and levers. I was able to free up an old brake cable by spraying it down the cable and leaving it overnight it freed up and cleaned up nicely. I had purchased a parts bike and really needed help from WD-40 to break free 50 year old bolts holding on obsolete plastic fenders and panels. I began putting it back together and got it running today! It’s a joyous day when you see your hard work pay off. Reminds me of first time using your product fixing my bmx bike at 10 years old and using it all over once I discovered it frees things and protects them. Keep up the great products! Thanks Colin,
