Lawnmower cable sticking

I was cutting the grass with my lawnmower, but when I let go of the handle, the lawnmower didn't shut off. The cable was sticking so the lawnmower wouldn't shut off unless I pulled on the cable. I knew this was a job for WD40 to fix!

Step 1

The cable was not releasing when the handle was let go, so I got my WD40 to fix it. The long straw made it easy to spray in the tight spots on the lawnmower.

Step 2

After spraying and working the cable a bit, I was able to free it and the handle was now releasing the cable like it should! All thanks to WD40!
