Lubricating Sticky Door Closer Spring Mechanism with WD-40

Applied WD-40 to the spring-loaded ball bearing mechanism mounted at the top of the door that helps keep it shut. The ball bearing was sticking and not retracting smoothly, causing the door to resist opening and closing properly. After spraying WD-40 directly onto the bearing and moving it back and forth, the mechanism regained full mobility and now functions smoothly without sticking.
