Re-sealing an old Subaru Engine

I recently tackled the large job of replacing the rear main oil seal on my girlfriend's 16-year-old Subaru Impreza. After 315000kms, it was leaking, bad! WD-40 stood up to the call of dealing with many rusty fastners, especially those attaching the exhaust manifold to the cylinder heads! The exhaust manifold has never been taken off before. With a liberal squirt of WD-40 and a couple sharp taps with a hammer, these rusted nuts and studs were no challenge!
