Rusty Fishing gear

Halibut fishing requires many hooks and when these hooks are rusty the chances of catches go down. Halibut are harvested from the cold Atlantic waters and shipped all over the world. Shiny hooks can reflect light, making it more visible to the fish. Shiny hooks can create subtle movements when in the water being more attractive for the fish to bite. We try repair n reuse instead of more fishing gear being in the ocean, along the beaches and landfills.

Step 1

Spray on hooks and leave on for about 10 minutes. This helps loosen and remove rust and leaves shiny for the next halibut trip and hopeful catches.
