The fan in my daughter's room it had been struggling for a while and one day decided to stop working. I took it apart and found a bunch of cakes dust mixed with grease causing the ball bearings of the electrick motor to seize. After cleaning out all of it I used some WD-40 to lubricate the bearings and it workes good as new.
