Vintage saw polish

Plan is to apply WD-40 to saw, hopefully it will penetrate rust, so that when I take the wire brush to it it'll clean right up without to much dust.
Step 1: Apply WD40

Apply WD40 to both sides of saw. Since I'm using bulk I apply it with a brush.
Step 2: Getting ready to Brush

A few hour later now, getting ready to put the wire brush to steel.
Step 3: Wire brushing saw

using wire brush on saw. It's cleaning up nicely.
Step 4: Reapply WD40

After completely brushing both sides and giving it a quick clean, I am reapplying WD40 to the clean saw with a clean rag. The hope is that this will protect the saw from moisture while the blade is in storage.
Step 5: And there you have it

Saw turned out nice. It is pitted but it is vintage so that was expected.
