WD-40, known for its lubricating properties, helped me to loosen up the stiff components of my sediment equipment. When water-based sediment equipment becomes stiff, it's often due to rust, corrosion, or general wear and tear. WD-40's penetrating oil helped me to break down rust and corrosion, allowing parts to move freely again. By applying WD-40 to the stiff components of my equipment, I was able to restore their mobility, enabling me to accurately determine the percentage of water in the sediment.
