Wood Planer Needs Rescuing by WD-40

When I dropped off my bag of garbage at the local recycling and garbage facility I noticed this wood planer sitting in the for free area. Just my price! When checking it out at home I found that the slider wouldn't move to allow the planer blades to move up and down. So the carriage of the planer was thoroughly sprayed with WD-40 and wiped and cleaned up with rags. Now the planer can be adjusted with ease and I've already used it to plane boards for the seat in the outhouse at my cabin and have other projects lined up. WD-40 saves my dump finds again!
